Victorian Savanna

The pebble edged meandering drive and pristine lawns lead to an imposing early Victorian house, epitomising the Garden of England. Set in 8 acres, the formal frontage leads through to a gated conifer edged field encompassing a variety of trees providing all year interest with an incredible palette as the seasons change.

The adjoining flagstone courtyard has a mature strawberry tree, angular beds with traditional planting punctuated by lollipop photinias and bays at access points. Nepeta steps guide to an elevated formal lawn with classic wooden seating tucked away. The lodge is a peaceful retreat, perfect to enjoy sunset evenings overlooking the wild meadow, neighbouring orchards and south downs.
